I’m a software engineer from Taiwan, mainly focused on backend development and DevOps. I mainly work with Java and Python, with interests in cloud services and system design.

Beyond software, I also have a background in data analysis and agriculture. With the desire to become a maker, I moved toward software to explore how technology can be more than a way to solve problems efficiently — how it can create deeper connections between people and the world, and give people (including myself) more opportunities to create and think.

Living and traveling abroad gave me the chance to meet people whose cultures and values were very different from my own, which pushed me to think harder about work, life direction, and what actually matters to me.

I’m still figuring out the balance between reality and ideals, but I’m trying to hold onto the things I value — and the ability to keep caring about them.

My experience spans software engineering, DevOps, and data-driven AI products across different industries, including data platforms, financial software vendors, and web product platforms.

I have worked on backend development, cloud services, system design, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and production operations. Working across different environments and roles has given me experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Beyond specific technologies, I value continuously improving my ability to understand and define problems, while developing the skills needed to solve them. I hope to build things that address people’s needs, creating solutions that are not only useful but also bring a sense of joy and possibility to the people who use them.
